All 181 primary, nursery and Additional Support Needs schools in north Lanarkshire now have fibre connections following a contract delivered by Commsworld more than 20 times the previous capacity, and secondary school connections are five times faster than before.
Lightning Fibre has signed a deal with Trinity Homes to install fibre to its new builds across East Sussex.
To date, Lightning Fibre has connected The Glenn, Southfields Road (comprising 19 flats), Cavalry Crescent (14 flats and houses) in Eastbourne, and in Heathfield, Cart Barn, (comprising six flats, two maisonettes and seven houses.)
Sustainability is also key to the agreement with Lightning Fibre committed to achieving Net Zero by 2050 and Trinity Homes eliminating gas boilers and replacing them with heat pumps on several projects.
