Fibrus has launched the 2024 Community Fund where £120,000 will be available for rural community groups across Northern Ireland and Cumbria.

F&W Networks has upgraded Wantage’s fire station to full fibre, as part of a wider commitment to improving the local emergency services’ accessibility and response time.
The altnet is working with Oxfordshire County Council and key stakeholders to upgrade emergency service connectivity in the county.
Its rollout is ongoing across west Berkshire and south Oxfordshire, with 200,00 premises added in 2023.
It expects to hit 410,000 homes passed imminently.
