High Wycombe set for potential £308m boost

CityFibre’s £23m investment into High Wycombes’s digital infrastructure may unlock over £308m in economic benefits, according to a report by Hatch.

The study estimates that over a fifteen-year period, High Wycombe will reap £163m in productivity and innovation gains, £36m from a widened workforce, £8m from local authority saving and £137m in increased housing value.

Technological benefits include £2389m in gross added value (GVA) from 5G services, £92m from the Internet of Things and £69m from Smart City initiatives.
