Commsworld plugs broadband market gap 

Commsworld claims to have plugged a gap in the market for businesses weighing up their broadband options.

The Edinburgh-based company says its launch of Ethernet over Fibre to the Premises (EoFTTP) – a business-grade broadband service that delivers fibre optic connectivity with minimum bandwidth assurances and fast repair times in the event of a fault – solves the challenge for businesses faced with buying broadband that fails to meet their needs at busier times or paying for more expensive dedicated leased lines.

Commsworld says EoFTTP guarantees 100 Mbps as a minimum and is burstable to 1 Gbps.

Commsworld’s EoFTTP leverages FTTP coverage from a number of network builders including Openreach and CityFibre as well as Commsworld's own fibre infrastructure across Scottish cities and large areas in Northumberland.

Commsworld plans to add additional alternative network operators to extend coverage of EoFTTP in the coming months.
