CityFibre has completed its primary build in kettering, bringing full fibre to over 25,000 of the town’s homes. The network covers 86% of local premises.
Tenby will be the latest of over 60 communities across south Wales where Ogi is bringing full fibre connectivity.
The altnet will look to pass over 5,000 premises in the town, with homes and businesses able to connect from early 2024.
Surveying work is already underway with activity due to start at street level in the town over the autumn when local construction embargos are lifted.
Ogi’s CEO, Ben Allwright, said: “Tourist destinations like Tenby are bursting with potential and they deserve the best connectivity to help them thrive.
“Our network is helping businesses to grow, wherever they are based; supporting people to work closer to where they live; and opening up even more home entertainment choices.”
