TOTSCo (The One Touch Switching Company) is celebrating the completion of 1.5m completed OTS switches since its launch, with match rates also edging upwards to reflect strong performance.
Industry-led TOTSCo is an organisation owned by its members and a vehicle for the messaging platform (The TOTSCo Hub) helping to implement Ofcom’s solution One Touch Switch (OTS) for easier and quicker switching between broadband and phone providers.
Since going live, TOTSCo has seen more than 13 million messages processed by the Hub, showing that both the process and technology continue to scale well across the industry.
Paul Bradbury, CEO said: “This is a huge achievement and a testament to the collaboration and commitment across the industry to make switching simpler for residential customers.
“Users will also soon see improved reporting performance, making it quicker and smoother to access the data they need. We’ll also be inviting more members to join the OTS Operations Forum — keeping ideas and improvements flowing so OTS stays strong for the future.”
More CPs are opting in to the TOTSCo business switching solution, with BT, VMO2, and others now in the testing programme, and the company will be discussing membership with new CPs and MAPs who are looking to join.
