CityFibre has completed the primary build of its full fibre network in Southend-on-Sea. Its network is now ready for service to over 70,000 homes, about 90% of the city’s residential properties, as well as most businesses, key public sector and community sites.
Quickline Communications has made its fibre services available to Almost 4,000 homes and businesses across three Lincolnshire communities.
The network addresses the villages of North Somercotes, near Louth and Donington, to the north of Spalding.
Elsewhere, most of the build in Alford is also now complete.
Julian Chalk, Quickline’s Head of Enablement and Engagement said: “Our rollout is ongoing and more rural, hard-to-reach communities will be lit up soon as we continue on our mission to provide decent connectivity to those places that have been left behind.”
