Octaplus Internet is the latest ISP to join MS3’s fibre network in Hull, combining broadband services with its own digital phone and TV offering.

The ISP is a newly formed entity, founded by Gladstone Gonsalves who has operated Alegra Broadband, an Indian ISP, for the last eight years.

Gonsalves tells FibreProvider.net that he plans to go nationwide with Octaplis and will soon launch IoT and smart home solutions to bolster its portfolio.

He said: “We are also providing digital landlines to help UK move away from their old PSTN landlines and help the government achieve their target faster.

“Octaplus is on a mission to empower small businesses by providing them with new-age solutions, digital landlines and thus be more flexible with their offerings. We are not here to build a business but build communities and empower them digitally.”

Sam Hales, Sales & Marketing Director at MS3 said: “The relationship with Octaplus is an exciting one for MS3, to see new ISP’s wanting to come to the UK and choosing to launch in Hull is a very positive sign for the city as we give people a choice for their broadband supplier.”
