Lightning Fibre CEO Stefan Stanislawski has shared details of the altnet’s new connections-focused strategy, following news of its change in ownership earlier this week.

Lightning Fibre has confirmed that it is under new ownership, having entered administration on the 19th of February.
The altnet was backed by Foresight in 2020, which provided funds aimed at helping Lightning Fibre pass 100,000 premises, doubling its initial plans.
An update from the company reads: “On 19th February 2024 the business and assets of Lightning Fibre Limited were transferred to LF Holdco 2 Ltd (trading as Lightning Fibre).
The Lightning Fibre business continues to trade as normal, and operations are not expected to be impacted by the administration of Lightning Fibre Limited.”
