KCOM has announced the first three winners of its Digital Inclusion Grants, aimed at improving lives in communities across Hull, East Yorkshire and north Lincolnshire.

CityFibre will invest £30m into overhauling the digital infrastructure of Hastings and St Leonards, bringing fibre services in reach of almost every home and business in the region.
Construction work on the Full Fibre network in Hastings will begin later this year with St Leonards to follow.
As work is completed in each neighbourhood, CityFibre will designate the homes ready for service with choice from Vodafone, TalkTalk, IDNet, Giganet and Zen.
“Our investment will bring Full Fibre to 60,000 homes across Hastings and we think people will be amazed by the difference it will make, both now and for future generations,” said Area Manager, Adrian Smith.
“This will help build better infrastructure, stimulate growth across Hastings, and boost the area’s overall economic potential,” added Sally-Ann Hart, MP for Hastings and Rye.
